From 1994 through 2004, Dr. Telleen focused his research on the adoption, management and usability of the web medium. His extensive prior experience in management, strategy development and marketing was evidenced by the practical advice on web implementations that he gave to an international set of clients. He is credited with coining the term Intranet in 1994 while championing the adoption of web technologies within Amdahl Corporation. He developed a unique methodology for documenting, auditing and testing effective web site principles and practices that has been used by more than 100 companies in North America, Europe and Japan to evaluate, compare and improve their Intranets, Extranets and Public Web Sites.
