Past the Keyhole

We are now following the Red and Yellow Circles. Look closely and you will see two people right above the big Red and Yellow Circle in the center of the picture to get a sense of the distance and scale.

The Trough

The Trough. The trail normally goes where the snow is still in place, so we had to make our own path up the left side. This made it a technical climb.

Again, notice the people in the yellow jackets above our party to get a perspective of the sizes and distances.

We are above 13,000 feet and the lack of oxygen is more noticable with each step.

The Narrows

This is looking back toward the Trough (which is around the corner and down to the right) from the Narrows.

The Narrows Looking Toward the Home Stretch

The Narrows - looking the other direction toward the Home Stretch. The Home Stretch is around the corner to the left.
