I’m married, 3 kids, 2 grandchildren.  I’m a metallurgical engineer (Ph.D. from the Colorado School of Mines).  After a career in R&D, I took an early retirement offer and then developed a consulting business.  I also teach metallurgy and mechanical engineering, part time, at Mines.

Activities include backpacking, master’s league swimming, and I still love sports cars.  I do restorations, exhibit at vintage car shows, and compete in club track events.
